Introductory Package:
Six lesson series that provides students with the basics they need to work around horses on the ground and introduces basic riding skills. Students learn basic horsemanship from the ground up. Each student is assigned to a helper who will assist in grooming and tacking the student's horse or pony and lead the horse or pony in the arena until student is able to walk, trot, halt, and steer on their own.
$150 for package of six lessons – one makeup lesson permitted; no refunds
Placement Lesson/Evaluation:
1 hour private lesson: $20 (for new students with previous experience)
Allows for individual time in the barn with instructor to become familiar with school horse, tack, etc as well as evaluation lesson to be placed into an appropriate group.
Standard Lesson Rates:
All lessons are scheduled in 1 hour segments; riding time will be approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour
Semi-private/Small Group: $25 per student (instructor’s permission required for placement)
Private: $30 per student
Payment and Billing Schedule:
New students must pay before or at time of lesson/package.
Current students will receive a monthly invoice by mail (by the 25th of the month) for the upcoming month. Example: January 25, you will be mailed an invoice with your scheduled lessons for February. If there are any dates you will not be able to attend, please note and deduct that lesson cost from your monthly total. Monthly invoice is payable on the 1st of the month. Late fees will be imposed after the 5th of the month.
If you need to cancel a lesson, due to illness or other conflicts, you will only be allowed a one lesson credit to carry into the next month. If we need to cancel a lesson due to weather or other problems, you will be issued credit for that lesson.
All students will receive a monthly e-mail newsletter with any upcoming schedule changes, information on upcoming shows and events, helpful horse websites and much more.
